So what makes Bank Farm Holiday Park the perfect location for your Static Caravan?
Most of our owners tend to come from within 30 miles of Birmingham, many from the Black Country and Worcestershire. City life has many advantages however when it comes to weekends away and family holidays most look to the hills for solace!
The problem is the perfect Park needs to be far enough away to engage with the great outdoors, yet not so far that’s the drive is a bind. Well then try out Bank Farm for size! It’s a lot closer than many Parks but is set right on the bank of the River Severn, on the edge of the Wyre Forest in the Severn Valley, Worcestershire. So, it’s the perfect picturesque location right on the Shropshire border, yet less than an hour’s drive, for most.
Our rural location offers the perfect mix of Forest trail; cool River Banks, quiet fishing pools, breathtaking landscape, amazing views and so much more! The area is rich in culture and is packed with historic towns to explore including Bewdley (3.5), Bridgnorth(14), Ludlow(20), Iron Bridge(22), Kidderminster (8) and Worcester(19), The Severn Valley railway runs from Kidderminster to Bridgnorth and right through our Park – not normally early in the morning or late in the evening, so there is little noise!
The Severn Valley and The Wyre Forest in Worcestershire and Shropshire are home to a variety of wildlife including deer, rabbits, foxes, badgers, Owls, Kestrels, Hawks and so many more. Rare species of butterfly can be found. You can even sample a wilder kind of wildlife, with a taste of Africa and beyond at the West Midlands Safari Park – offering 200 acres of open space for wild animals to roam free.
There will never be a shortage of places to visit with local castles, museums and some super eating houses in the area. There’s so much to explore.
Ye Old New Inn, The Ship and the Harbour are all within walking distance of the park and are oldie worldly country pubs, with great live entertainment and super atmospheres and children are welcome.
