No, Bank Farm is a holiday park, so all holiday homes and touring pitches are for holiday and leisure use only and cannot be used as a permanent residence.

Although the park is open for 11 months of the year, all owners and customers must maintain a main residential address elsewhere and use the park in a way that reflects holiday use rather than full-time living.

Bank Farm is designed to offer a peaceful, relaxing place to escape to and enjoy throughout the year.

We are positioned in the heart of the Wyre Forest, nestled in the valley next to the River Severn and the historic Severn Valley Railway. Our location is truly special: a stream runs directly through the park, and because one bank sits in Shropshire and the other is in Worcestershire, we can proudly claim to be situated in both counties. It is the perfect setting for those who want to soak up the beauty of the countryside with the charm of passing steam trains on our doorstep.

Our park features a distinctive split-level design nestled on a scenic hill, which is a key part of our quintessential personality. This elevation ensures that many of our holiday homes, whether you choose a luxury lodge or a classic static caravan, benefit from stunning elevated views of the fields on the other side of the stream. Because no two pitches are exactly the same, you are guaranteed a one-of-a-kind location for your perfect countryside escape.

There is truly something for everyone here. We feature a Pitch and Putt golf course, an outdoor sports court marked up for various games, an outdoor gym, and a play area for the little ones. A highlight of the park is our new sheltered breakout area, which provides a fantastic panoramic view over the outdoor heated swimming pool, outdoor multi-sports court and play area. It’s the perfect place for adults to relax or enjoy a picnic while keeping a watchful eye on the children’s play, giving them the freedom to have fun while a grown up supervises nearby. (Please note: we insist that a responsible adult remains poolside when their children are swimming.) Additionally, fishing enthusiasts can spend a relaxing afternoon right on the banks of the River Severn or one of our well-stocked pools.

When you drive onto the park, you’ll pass our outdoor gym and the dog agility course. You will see our Hospitality Suite immediately on your left, where you can park right outside near the vehicle electrical hookup points. From there, please head over to the Warden’s Office, located opposite, next to the security bollards; these ensure that everyone on the park is welcome here, providing additional peace of mind for our owners. As the Hospitality Suite isn’t manned at all times, please visit the Warden’s Office first, and one of our friendly team will be delighted to greet you. Our colleague will take you over to the suite where we can pop the kettle on and have a cuppa.

Our location on the Worcestershire and Shropshire border is the perfect base. Whether you are looking for a relaxed pace or an action-packed getaway, you’ll find plenty to do just a short distance from the park. From exploring historic market towns and heritage sites to enjoying long, peaceful walks through the stunning surrounding countryside, there is something here for everyone to enjoy. Absolutely. Nature lovers will feel right at home here, as the Wyre Forest is teeming with life. It is a genuine delight for our owners to spot fallow deer grazing in the nearby woodlands, which are frequently seen roaming just outside the park boundaries.

You’re in luck! Despite our beautifully rural location, we are perfectly placed for car free relaxed travel.  You can hop on the Severn Valley Railway at Arley Station (just 1.5 miles away) to travel via steam train or heritage diesel to Highley, Bridgnorth, Bewdley or Kidderminster. It’s a nostalgic way to see the valley. Read on for walking, buses, mainline trains and cycles!

Yes, a local bus route runs through the area connecting us to Bridgnorth, Bewdley and Kidderminster.  While it’s a rural service, it provides a great link for those days you want to leave the car at the Park. We recommend checking the latest bus timetable online as it changes seasonally.  The nearest bus stop is in Button Oak, under 5,000 steps away.

Kidderminster Station is about 7 miles (15-20 mins) away. From there, you can catch direct trains to Birmingham Snow Hill or Worcester, and connect to the national network for all points beyond.  You can also catch the Severn Valley Railway from here.

We have some great countryside pubs within a couple of miles of the Park, including Ye Olde New Inn, known fro its legendary Sunday Carvery! Bewdley is our closest town, 4 miles (10 mins), offering Tesco Express, Sainsbury’s Local plus fantastic riverside dining and interesting local stores. The market town of Bridgnorth is 8 miles (18 mins) away and is home to the Theatre on the Steps, a 17^th Century half-timbered town hall, the clifftop railway and award-winning pork pies.  The famous foodie town of Ludlow is a scenic 15-mile drive (approx. 30 mins).  Ludlow, associated with the Slow Food movement, is a recommended day out (don’t miss the castle!).

Yes! While we love supporting our local stores in Bewdley, major supermarkets and the food delivery companies can bring your orders directly to the Park.

Absolutely. You can access the Wyre Forest directly from the area, which offers miles of waymarked paths and dedicated cycle paths. The River Severn also provides beautiful, flat towpath walks toward Upper Arley & Bewdley (downstream), or Highley & Bridgnorth (upstream).

The West Midlands Safari and Adventure Theme Park is only 15 minutes away and is a huge hit with the kids! For something quieter, Arley Arboretum is right on our doorstep, and the Go Ape Treetop Adventure in the Wyre Forest is perfect for the more adventurous. The avid walkers can get there by foot, while others might take the car.

The closest country pub is Ye Olde New Inn (1/2 mile) which is famous in these parts for their fantastic Sunday carvery.  Follow the road to the river and you’ll pass The Harbour, which is a great all-rounder:  entertainment, children’s playground, Sky Sports TV and varied dining options. Bewdley is packed with traditional real-ale pubs, cafes, and restaurants, with many overlooking the River Severn.

As well as Go Ape, the Severn Valley Railway and the Safari Park, the Habberley Trail is a great place let off some steam.  The Severn Valley Country Park is around 30 mins away in the car.  There are lots of seasonal fairs, markets and themed events in the local towns, especially Bewdley.

Just 4.6 miles away! Mrs Chill's Ice cream parlour is in Bewdley's Load Street, (close to the river bridge). They offers a fine selection of wonderful ice cream sundaes.

On a Saturday afternoon throughout the summer months we have a visiting ice cream van that comes to the park.
