The market town of Bewdley is an attractive Georgian riverside town on the the River Severn, situated in beautiful countryside with a rich agricultural and industrial history and within the Wyre Forest itself and close to the English –Welsh borderlands known as The Marches. Bewdley is aptly taken from the French term ‘Beau Lieu’, indeed it is a ‘beautiful place’, and a great area to explore!
The area around Bewdley is packed with charm, there’s a landscape in the town of listed buildings. Bewdley Museum in Load Street is where you can see local crafts people at work, adjacent to the wonderful Jubilee Gardens and Community Orchard.
